Ethan Page Unveils New NXT North American Championship Design, Match Set with TNA Star

Reigning North American Champion Ethan Page, "All Ego" himself, unveiled a controversial new design for the NXT North American Championship on Tuesday's episode of NXT. The revamped title features a strap painted in the distinct colors of the Canadian flag, a bold statement reflecting Page's unwavering national pride.

The unveiling took place in Houston, Texas, a setting that only amplified the crowd's reaction. As Page, a native of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, presented his custom championship, he took the opportunity to openly critique both the United States and Mexico, the other two nations represented on the original North American Championship design. This fiery rhetoric, which reportedly included several bleeped-out comments, drew a chorus of boos and chants from the Texas faithful, solidifying Page's status as a top antagonist in NXT.

The original NXT North American Championship, first introduced by Triple H on April 3, 2018, traditionally features three gold plates on a brown leather strap, with the central plate displaying a globe highlighting North America. The side plates are customizable, a feature that Page has now taken to an unprecedented level. While other champions have customized their side plates with personal logos, Page's decision to alter the entire strap to resemble the Canadian flag is a significant departure from previous designs and a clear declaration of his "All Ego" persona.

Page, who captured the NXT North American Championship from Ricky Saints on May 27, 2025, has been vocal about his perceived superiority and his Canadian heritage since arriving in WWE in May 2024. His tenure in NXT has been marked by a rapid ascent, including a previous reign as NXT Champion. This latest act of customization further cements his "All Ego" brand and his dedication to provoking a reaction from the fans.

The reveal was not without immediate consequences, as Page was confronted by TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, who expressed his disapproval and seemingly hinted at a future confrontation with the Canadian champion.

The new Canadian-themed NXT North American Championship has undoubtedly achieved its intended purpose: to get people talking. Whether fans love it or hate it, Ethan Page has once again ensured all eyes are on "All Ego" and his championship reign.
