Major League Wrestling
has officially announced the return of its flagship weekly series, MLW Fusion, following a multi-year hiatus from a fixed year-round schedule. The promotion issued a formal press release from its corporate headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina, revealing that the show will return on Saturday, May 30, 2026, featuring a special two-hour season premiere.

The primary talking point surrounding the relaunch is the specific broadcast time. MLW Fusion will stream free every Saturday at 6:05 PM ET on the promotion's official YouTube channel, with an encore presentation scheduled to air later that evening at 10:00 PM ET on beIN Sports. The 6:05 PM time slot carries profound historical significance within professional wrestling, as it was the traditional home of Georgia Championship Wrestling and WCW Saturday Night on Ted Turner’s WTBS for nearly three decades.

MLW Founder and CEO Court Bauer addressed the historic slot directly in the announcement, calling 6:05 sacred ground. Bauer noted that the time slot belongs to the history of the sport made famous by Ted Turner, explaining that the company isn't just bringing back a weekly show, but planting its flag and celebrating wrestling's southern soul for fans who remember what Saturday night wrestling felt like.

The return of the hour-long weekly format arrives at a time of massive roster expansion for the company. MLW has aggressively pursued high-profile free agents and international talent to stack the deck for the new season. Recent major acquisitions include former WWE stars Shotzi and Trevor Lee, alongside Lady Frost. Additionally, the promotion has imported heavy hitters from the European independent circuit, securing commitments from Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang, and Big Damo.

These new additions join an established roster currently anchored by reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross, who secured the title in January by winning the grueling 40-man Battle Riot VIII match from the number one entry position. The core locker room also features former UFC standout Matt Riddle, Mexican box office draw Mistico, The Good Brothers, Satoshi Kojima, and the powerhouse tag team of Donovan Dijak and Bishop Dyer, known collectively as The Skyscrapers.

The Fusion relaunch coincides with a busy summer touring schedule that will serve as the initial television tapings for the YouTube series. The promotion is scheduled to return to the Melrose Ballroom in New York City on June 11, followed by a two-night stand in Philadelphia on June 12 and 13. With a modernized roster and a clear tribute to the golden era of cable wrestling, MLW is positioned to offer a unique, easily accessible alternative in the crowded professional wrestling media landscape.
